Archive Southern Sandstone Pages

   Listed below are some of the  pages from the old SouthernSandstone web site from way back in the  80's to 2007 when it retired.

Southern Sandstone started approxamately 15+ years ago and was run by myself (Andy) and towards the end 2006 onwards by James an avid boulderer. We both lost interest around 2006 when climbing was becoming very difficult for myself and James was studying hard for exams so I folded the site.

As you can see from the links below all of the details are starting to look very old but I have been asked by lots of people to link some of the old pages for nostalgic reasons.

Southern Sandstone can claim to be the first climbing web site in the UK well before UKClimbing was even thought of infact some of my early pages were published on eclimb.

James and I loved Southern Sandstone and enjoyed every moment.
