The Dewerstone

A fine view of the rocks. 

The Dewerstone located just north of Plymouth. Take the A386 to Yelverton out of Plymouth, turn right to Bickleigh and Shaugh Prior. There are other routes and it's easy to get lost. The rocks are located a few minutes from the car park. From the car park walk back over the river by way of a wooden bridge and follow the river north for about 10 minutes on a well used path. The climbs will soon be visable through the trees in this heavily wooded area. The first area met from the path is the tower, with some fine severe climbs, Towers Crack 4b. Further round is another fine tower with more interesting grades as seen on the right.
